ABSTRACT
The paper presents a new servo valve with integrated digital electronics. The hardware and software structures as well as the functionality of this new generation of servo and proportional valves is shown. The advantages of the digital electronics are demonstrated by an easy method to tune the feedback parameters of a pressure controller. A typical application, which uses the new valves with digital control electronics and fieldbus interface is presented.
